Some other tips to help avoid overpacking:
- Plan your outfits, make sure you can mix and match clothes, keep to a neutral colour palette to fit all occasions.
- Check the weather forecast to take what you need based on the weather.
- Use packing cubes/compress packing cubes to organise and make room in your luggage.
- Limit the amount of shoes you take, ideally take a daytime shoe and an evening shoe.
- Good idea to do your laundry while travelling to reduce the amount of clothes needed.
- Use mini toiletries where possible.
- And ask yourself this question when packing “Do I really need this?”
