EES In Force

The new Entry/Exit System (EES) has come into force, so when you travel into an EU country, the border control will be different. You will be required to have your passport scanned, your facial image taken and your fingerprints collected, they will be stored electronically for three years before you need to complete the process again.

During the first few months border control might be slower as people’s data is collected for the first time so be patient and you will processed quickly as possible.
