Have you ever been on a cruise? How was it?

I have been on three cruises so far.

Our first experience was with TUI Marella Cruises back in 2022 cruising around the Mediterranean from Majorca for a week, it was a good first cruise that got us the bug. The ship was small, believe it was an old ship from another cruise line, clean, good bars and entertainment, food not so good.

Our second cruise was with P&O on their Arvia ship back in April 2024, once again cruising the Mediterranean from Southampton for two weeks. We enjoyed this one, the ship was a lot bigger than TUI’s one, good entertainment, bars and food.

Our third and latest cruise was with P&O again but Iona this time for New Year, and we cruised down to the Canary Islands from Southampton. It’s the sister ship to Arvia, but unfortunately the entertainment and food was lacking on this cruise so it’s put us off going with P&O again.

We want to try out Celebrity Cruises and Royal Caribbean next 🚢
